However, three times as many males as females are arrested for criminal offences, suggesting that while they may commit similar types of offences, males are likely to commit more offences. Males: top crime is theft under ,000, then mischief, assault level 1, and break and enter. Females: theft under ,000, assault level 1, mischief, and uttering threats.
