Bridging theories try to bring theories together. Control theory and the life course perspective in studies of crime and crime. Published general theory of crime & after s&l"s turning points in the life course . H&g say life course perspective diametrically opposed to own conclusions. Trying to say that lcp - wrong. Best measure of propensity to offend - number & variety of problem behaviours engaged in during youth. Poor behaviour in school & occupational settings.
