Criminological theory-what might apply, time period, main characters. Movie: bonnie- attracted to the bad boy type. Edging clyde to use his gun, to prove his manhood and ability be strong and prove himself. Influenced by clyde"s manipulative nature- becomes manipulative herself. Becomes enthralled with the money and the adventure- doesn"t like the normal life after she meets clyde. Becomes more reckless and likes to hear about what they did-takes proud of what they did. She becomes scared of death and wants to see her family- starts to feel remorse of what they are doing/wants a family but cant have one but cant have it with clyde. Doesn"t want her family to know what she is doing- loves her family and respects them. Clyde- thinks of bonnie as different- can do something different than a waitress. Likes to show people that he is strong and is reckless. Smart, and can manipulate people into doing what he wants by being charming.
