If their aitudes have changed a lot in between = more evidence that it could be. Diagram of psa study cause and efect relaionship: study paricipants pretest 2 hrs tv with psa postest. Problem is that, if they realize what the experiment is about, they can change their answers to match what the researcher may want or maybe the shows between the psa could be the efect (3rd variable) Control groups 2 hrs of tv without psa to see the actual efect of the psa without having 3rd variables. Psa study with 3 groups: experimental group pretest tv with psa postest, control group pretest tv without psa postest. Research subject bias: characterisics of paricipants that lead to bias in study outcomes.
