Release / full parole is higher number because maybe the life time serving people can only apply for full parole, they cannot do statutory release since lifetime is usually no expiration date. Coming back: the pains of re-entry: pains of re-entry, an absence of, status restoration ceremonies, rituals of reintegration. The challenges of the newly released: dynamic need domains, attitudes, community functioning, employment, marital/family, personal and emotional, associates, and substance abuse, additional challenges due to, lack of program continuity, mental illness, fasd, and homelessness. Parole officers and the supervision of offenders: the activities of pos *duality (dual role) of role pos for exam (understand behaviours of offender, air of public safety, etc. ) Special offender populations on parole: high-risk offenders, mentally ill offenders methadone or other treatment, but not much thing to do parole officers their own, sex offenders.
