Happen if someone catches you in a crime "caught in the act" or police get evidence together and make case against you. Not trial, just standing in front of judge and having the accused of things doing and read to you. Police have to honour our freedom rights as possible. If its possible to release you cuz there"s no danger to public safety than should not be detained. Finds committing an indictable offence (ex: caught in the act) (incl. hybrid) Hybrid - this offence is punishable by 6 months or less imprisonment or punishable by indictment ence and ould. Principle restraint, police should ask permission (arrest warrant) before arrest someone but not always possible.
