Online version of discussion room, but where convo can be viewed for period of time. Forum organized into hierarchy of sub-forums, usually containing specific topic(s) Categorize each discussion into thread , chronological discussion on topic where each person can reply to any previous posts. People reply to each others" comments & discussion flows. Social aspect of this type - user"s ability to vote about quality of bookmark/comment on it. Online site whereon social r/s b/w users w/ similar interests/friends can be established & shared. User may have profile on which they put content about themselves. Focus is on network & r/s b/w users.
