Degrees of longitude between the two locations = 37-9 = 28. Distance spanned by 1 degree along the equator (great circle) = ~111km. Total distance between two locations = 28 x 111 = 3108km. Affects the amount of solar radiation and intensity, sun angle, and day length. E. g. when titled away from the sun, lower solar radiation from lower sun angle and shorter day length.
