She went through her lecture way too fast for me to write down half of what she put on her powerpoint. Incidents of rape of over the past few years in india, have raised concerns about woman"s. Right to the city": example: a slum in badaun, india. Two young girls were trying to find an open area to defecate, when they were kidnapped, raped and killed by hanging. Gendered violence: public and private space: these solutions limit gendered violence to public spaces, obscuring violence in private spaces, need to finish later. Socio-cultural violence: private and public space: the material conditions and lack of resources in these slums, opens up all aspects of slum life, both public and private finish later.
