Some have called for ph to shift attention from discrete interventions to the social determinants of health. Individualized: autonomy and privacy, we don"t want to overdue this emphasis what is good for the entire community. Asks what are the duties of ph professionals?", stressing public trust. Ph professionals largely lack a code of ethics, as opposed to lawyers and physicians. Interdisciplinary focus of ph makes creating a code difficult: many disciplines have own ethical codes. Ethical code could help explain ph"s fiduciary responsibility: Compare to physicians and lawyers, especially in the case of truth-telling. I think it would be ok because if you look at the overall health outcomes, then more people would be healthier and live a better life. But may lead to mistrust to healthcare professionals.
