Semiotics- the study of signs/ symbols in communication. Humans became humans, after using signs on communication. All words are signs that substitute real objects. It should be material must be able to hear it, see it or touch it. It serves as a means of communication. A plant, having a trunk with leaves and/or needles. Signifier form that we should reach our senses, and perceive. A signifier is that part of a sign that stimulates at least one sense organ of the receiver of a message. Individual instances of signs are called tokens (individual representative of functions). All signs can act as signals when they trigger a specific action on the part of the receiver of the message, as do many traffic lights, words in human language ( take" or bring", etc. )
