You have a moral right to drive your car. You know there is a chance, when you get behind the wheel, that you will hit a cyclist or pedestrian. Despite having your car regularly serviced one of your tires blows out on the way home and your car hits a cyclist. The cyclist has a very rare blood type. You are the only person in bc with that rare blood type. The cyclist will die unless you go to the hospital and give transfusions. The blood transfusion will take a certain amount of time (that will vary in each case). Three views about whether and why abortion is morally permissible. Whether: under what circumstances is it morally permissible for a woman. Why: what are the grounds or arguments in support of that moral. These are conclusions about morality rather than what the law allows. They are arguments about what the law should be.
