Longstanding, pervasive, inflexible, extreme, and persistent patterns of behaviour and inner experience. Many people who seem to have serious personality problems do not fit any of the diagnoses. Who they are by their nature gets them into trouble. Personality disorders are highly comorbid with axis i.
