Another important principle - there are multiple diff levels of physical analysis relevant to our understanding of mind. From molecular to cellular, organs to circuits, social & ecological. Dynamics at each level influences dynamic of others - sensory, motor, & higher cognitive processes of info travels in between each of levels. Changes/disturbances at one level can be observed in others, making them all part of one continuous process despite appearing at discrete units.
