Understanding how we learn and who we learn from. Language is a communicational tool reading a textbook = social learning. Individual learning= picking up an instrument and just playing. We learn from others more than any other speies. Ability to pass on information from one generation to the next= makes us unique humans. They are not spending time with parents (adults) learn from others. Does not rely on understanding intentions or language understanding.
