Focuses on social relaionships, looking how others inluence our behavior, gov. , religion, economy afect us; how we afect others too. Wright mills (1959) deined sociological imaginaion as an awareness of the relaionship between an individual and the wider society. This awareness allows all of us (not just sociologists) to comprehend the links between our immediate, personal social seings and the remote, impersonal social world that surrounds us and helps to shape us. Peter berger (1963) deined sociological perspecive as the ability to view the world from two disinct yet complimentary perspecives: seeing the general in the paricular and seeing the strange in the familiar. Strange things in the familiar things such as why do we face the elevator. Framework for building theory that sees society as a complex system whose parts work together to promote solidarity and stability.
