Document Summary

Throughout the years, there have been numerous studies concerning global warming occurring rapidly in arctic marine and terrestrial ecosystems. Nevertheless, these events are more inclined towards a positive loop feedback. Simmonds, major changes are happening in the arctic climate as regional air temperatures rises at two to four times the global average rate. Furthermore, they imply that the positive feedback can be found based on the relation between the warming of the arctic warming to the diminishing and breaking of the sea ice. As a result, this exposes the ocean surface, which in turn, would absorb more sunlight (screen and simmonds 2010). Likewise, arctic terrestrial ecosystems are experiencing similar events as darker parts of the earth"s surface such as rocks and plants become more exposed. In conclusion, these events would strongly suggest a positive loop feedback towards the earth"s changing climate. B. urry, l. a. cain, m. l. wasserman, s. a. minorsky, p. v. jackson, r. b. ,
