Poverty is a big concern in social welfare and the social policy process. Case study: getting ahead in just getting by world. American program where people who have been on welfare for a long time get together and talk about poverty: staff members, service users. A different view on poverty and inspire those who are in a similar situation. When we put a human face of poverty, it disrupts our typical ideas of poverty. Its problematic that we have to each meet marginalized minorities to remind them that the(cid:455)(cid:859)re hu(cid:373)a(cid:374) / (cid:272)ha(cid:374)ge their ideas. Therefore, we must ask questions in order to gain a better idea on what to do about poverty / how to eradicate poverty: What is poverty: when we get to the nitty gritty of defining poverty, it raises a lot of concerns / assumptions that we have on poverty.
