People will struggle and act upon them to change them. We have structure in our society, but human agency as well. Human agency is what brought these structures into place and what will change them. Social change the alteration, modification, or transformation of public policy, culture or social institutions over time. Human group behaviour what kind of it leads to what change. Collective behaviour- involves a relatively large number of people who mutually transcend, bypass or subvert established institutional patterns, structures and/or norms. Crowds, disaster behaviour, fads & fashions, panics & crazes, rumours & gossip, publics & public information. Crowds are temporary groupings of people within close proximity whom share something in common. Sometimes crowds and crowd behaviour turns into a riot. Disaster behaviour refers to the sudden or disrupti(cid:448)e e(cid:448)e(cid:374)t(cid:894)s(cid:895), that o(cid:448)er ta(cid:454)es a (cid:272)o(cid:373)(cid:373)u(cid:374)it(cid:455)"s resources second category of disasters- technological disasters (human made) tend to be natural disasters (hurricanes, etc)
