Critique the idea of sexuality being something that is purely biological enforced with natural instincts. Main motives were to discover disadvantages and advantages of men. Men"s sexuality was considered vulnerable to disruption as the victim. Women"s sexuality were considered a threat to masculinity if not following. When treating sex as natural, we enforce sexual dimorphism and the sexual binary. Vaginal penetration in monogamous marriage is considered a natural drive . Challenged phallocentrism (the penis is the way) Sexual normality is not natural but socially and politically defined. The aforementioned critiques drew new theories of sexuality and created a new discipline. Uranism (lesbianism) may nearly always be suspected in females wearing their hair short, or who dress in the fashion of men and participate in sports was used to define a politically successful woman to justify her success. Women were viewed as emancipating their partners when successful.
