When sperm come out of manufacturing center they look like sperm but don"t have the final proteins and other stuff to make it functional. All animals we talk about have a scrotum. There are external because if inside they get too hot and will die. Gubernaculum plays important role in getting the testis into the scrotum. Parenchyma makes up the majority of the tissue. Separates visceral vaginal tunic and parietal vaginal tunic. All the worm like structures are seminiferous tubules. Those drain to the middle of the testis to the rate tubule. Leydig cells are the ones that produce testosterone. As the spermatogonia mature and turn into the sperm it will move closer to the middle. The epididymus can be sectioned into 3 parts (head, body and tail) Sperm can"t be stored in the epididymus tail forever. Whether the head or tail will be on the bottom depends on species and where the testis will attach to the scrotum.
