Document Summary

Jabberwocky total nonsense poem, you can project your own meaning onto it good example of how we create our own meaning for texts instead of texts creating meaning. "twas brillig, and the slithy toves/did gyre and gimble in the wabe:/all mimsy were the borogoves,/and the mome raths outgrabe. What"s the significance? things go back to normal, there"s a return, whether normal is creepy or calm depends on the interpretation of the made-up words in the first stanza. These words sound like they could be english if you don"t know. The words are uncertain but not gibberish because we feel like we can assign meaning to them. Uncertainty doesn"t necessarily have to be scary. Writing exercise why i don"t teach grammar . And only one rule to follow: make sure that every component of your sentences is related to the other components in a way that is clear and unambiguous .
