Assad"s sees the rebellion not as a cuntuination of the arab spring, but as the continuation of a much older rebellion, the muslims brotherhoods islamic uprising in 1979-1982 . The rebels got weapons from russia back then. In march 2012 over 3 thousand emails between the couple were linked. In these she calls herself the real dictator and reveals that the harsh attacks on the protestors were her idea.
