I believe health is a functional level which your body can live and function at. If you move, you should be covered by current province within 3 months of moving: accessible, no user fee. Canadian health orientations: medical approach (nurses do what the doctors say, behavioural approach (focused on teaching, doesn"t work very well, socioenvironmental approach (focus on the determinants of health, prevention) Socio-environmental approach to health (era of social health conditions) Health is more than a state of well-being. Health includes being in a stable or actualizing state (no barriers) A resource for everyday life that is influenced by circumstances, beliefs and the determinants of health (chn assoc. of canada, 2008) What is the continuum that dr. burns describes and what does it mean?
