Par investigators, like, ethographers, immerse themselves in the field for deep understanding and to build trust and credibility. Select a sample of participants who represent varied perspectives, experiences and backgrounds. Data gathering (cid:862)look(cid:863) phase, data are gathered from variety of sources: interviews are the principal means for understanding the experience of the partciants. In the (cid:862)think(cid:863) phase, researchers think about and reflect on all the data gathered. Reduce the volumes of information into a manageable and organized set of concepts or ideas.
