Nursing suffers from lack of definition of its knowledge. Nursing"s metaparadigm overall way of thinking. Person individual, group, family, community at center of nursing care. Health the goal of nursing care; broadly defined. Nursing unique view of nursing that links person, environment and health. Second research systematic process of discovery - qualitative & quantitative. Has autonomy over a specific jurisdiction and mandate.
