My right knee is very painful, can you help me? . Brian johnston is a 55 year old male who presents to the pharmacotherapy clinic complaining of right knee pain. He states that he had the pain on his right knee for few months but because they were mild and not interfering with his daily activities, he basically ignored it. Now, he wakes up in the morning with stiffness in his right knee but resolves after he goes for a short walk in the park. He noticed the pain/stiffness recurred after sitting down for breakfast for more than 20 minutes. However, the last couples of weeks he noticed that the pain on his right knee has worsened and he is not able to take the short walks anymore. He states that in his mid-twenty, he was hit by a hockey stick to his right knee during a hockey game.
