Diabetes homework assignment: a paient is having trouble remembering to take their diabetes medicaions. Weekly pillboxes would be helpful aid to taking medicaions. Advising paients on muliple medicaions to opt for pillboxes with larger compartments would be more pracical. If the paient forgets to take medicaions that are dosed muliple imes a day, pillboxes with muliple ime slots for each day would be useful. Transportable pillboxes would allow paients to travel outside of the house with their medicaions. Pro of pillbox is visual indicaion of a forgoten dose. Con of pillboxes is remembering to organise the pills at the start of a new week so keep main supply of pills in a memorable area. A paient is using gliclazide to help manage type 2 diabetes. They are worried about having a hypoglycemic event and want to know what they should carry with them to treat a low blood sugar.
