They are both entertaining and informative, and they deliver a more critical tone because they aren"t bound by the journalistic codes. Social media - the study of political communication focuses on social media because it lets us be selective with what we think is worth knowing. This also influences the traditional news media, and social media can become the centre of news (facebook new stories) Politics - many political scientist want to confine the study to what happens within the government, elections and legislature. However, we will be looking at the from a broader tone, looking at class, ability and gender.
