There are disputes among people who are liberal writers about why liberalism should be the dominant cannon. Realists and liberalist have always been on opposite side of the spectrum, as liberalism is a more optimist theory in regards to international and domestic institutions and there e ectiveness. Liberalism believes that by embracing freedom, western values and a free market the world can have a comfortable peace. Liberalism has been called di erent things through the ages and context. Recent variations of liberalism are neoliberalism (or neo liberal institutions- ideally working states together to promote peace). The one assumption is that domestic policies can be in uenced by policy and regulation, but this also implies to the international world as well.
