The leadership of trudeau and harper have had opposite approaches to the isis problem (harper with the stereotype masculine approach) while trudeau favours a more feminine approach. Older news reports have focused on the oppression of woman, but now its focuses less on this and at least mentions that it is more complex than that. There is a lack of nuance associated with the presentation of isis. Feminism argues that women have been left out of the leadership and idea makers of many societies. Woman haven"t been absence in the us, but they aren"t carved into stone. China"s politburo standing committee is all male, with clean shaven faces and tied back hair. Feminism has been making strides on bringing women into high politics, to stop men from making all the major decisions. Realists might say it doesn"t matter because domestic matters are unimportant, but it is still a valuable question.
