Similar in some ways to the psychodynamic theories. Focus on tings that cost di erentiate people from other organisms. Carl rogers: the only reality that matters is the one they perceive it. There will be as many red worlds as there are people. Will perceive from their own unique world view. Self-actualization: tendency that is within an organism. Within people: to make life ice and pursue those freely. Lets stay tree at the side of cli : bad conditions salt etc. But tendency to grow is still there. Will grow as much as possible within that bad condition regardless of the situation. Self-actualization: feeling of self expression , connectedness to the broader world, creativity. When talking about unconscious: psychodynamic - barred from consciousness. But in psychodynamic: fast or automatic with very less conscious e ort. The beliefs that should be studied have to do with value or futility or action.
