Intonaion paterns, difer with people speaking in diferent accents. Selecion and linearizaion of informaion (what youre going to say when) Sequence of sounds that occur in that word. Sequence of ariculatory gestures move your vocal chords, mouth, to produce that sound. Hierarchical structure provides organizaion and order informaion: ex. Consituents at each level specify lower-level components and their order. Control of consituents based on acivaion (in order to produce sound by a frame, it has to be acive: consituent is executed when suiciently acive. Then acivates the pieces to produce sound: execuion entails acivaing subordinate frames in order.
