Video watched in class---> the nurture effect video explained to us how love/care/affection/positive reinforcement and nurture can solve various problems in the world including poverty,child abuse etc. Every child deserves a loving and nurturing environment. Our behaviour can be modified by modelling prompts that model our behaviour for us in tv commercials or advertisements. Eg-designated driver concept was incorporated into tv commercials and that had led to a decrease in road accidents due to drunk driving and increase in designated drivers(person who is not drunk and drives home). Target behaviour : the behavior we are looking at or targetting, it is very different from our goal. Response : a behaviour produced in response to an event or something that just happens . Response class: different forms of responding but all the responses have a similar goal - example: walking to the door, jumping, hopping etc all have the same goal of exiting the door).
