A higher level of environmental planning, aims to integrate environmental considerations. Living organisms and their interactions with the physical environment: wildlife, ecology. Socio-economic environment: jobs, education, demographics, taxes. Human health and culture: values, health, traditional cultures, lifestyles. Short-term (individual projects): ensuring that environmental factors are explicitly addressed in decision-making concerning proposed developments.
