Animal welfare and rights : animal welfare philosophers tend to be anthropocentric. !1: con ne ethical arguments to the human culture, animals do not understand what is involved in human-de ned ethics and morals, animals cannot participate on our ethical culture and thus do not have the same. Animal welfare causes no problems: sh welfare can be achieved ef ciently, objectively and unemotionally through. Animal liberation: animal liberation centres on individual sh but extends the ethical culture to everything that suffers. The more humane thing to do is euthanized the bird: based on kellert. Animal rights: focus is more on rights than consideration of suffering. We owe this to wild animals not out of kindness, nor because we are against cruelty, but out of respect for their rights.
