Cannot think on a country level but global level. Marx and adam smith were the rst ones to realize that we should think globally. Post industrial revolution: objective is making money. Marx write in the capital 151 years ago: the dna of capitalism is called exploitation. Exploitation: when you work for someone, you sell your labour to someone and you are gonna get paid less than what you yield to that person. Yield more for your employer than what your employer is paying you. The money that comes from exploitation is pro t. The goal of capitalism is to create capital/pro t. 200,000 salary but yields 2 million +> yields 10 times more. 30k salary but yields 90k => yields only 3 times more. We think the latter is exploited more but in reality the former is exploited more. Technology is not the source of pro t because a person has to still push the button.
