Re-socialization strategies: latent dysfunctions (robert merton) of total institutions, total institutions- absolute authority ww11german soldiers, Family of orientation ( your parents and the culture you grew up in) and family of procreation ( the family you create- new generation) Endogamy - moving into a new family of procreation (marrying into the same cultural group) and exogamy (marrying into a different cultural group. )
