Unequal economic and political power of core vs. Promotes large companies and forgin investors to have a greater steak in what happens in other country, leading to more and more forgine control. The periphery states tend to take the culture of the domiate core states. This is a good thing because it premostes a wold culture. But also bad because of the loss of local cultures. Superpowers such as america force vaules onto other coutries- Di erent perceptions of goods in core and periphery states.
