Religion is one of the social cultural institutions that helps accomplishing the goal of gluing societies together. It is one of the most spectacular inventions of human society in which truth is always accepted on faith. It includes ideas & practices that postulate reality beyond that which is available to the sense. Religion is shared & collectively enacted in ritual. Is cultural universal, there is no society without religion, every culture has a concept of sacred, sacred is a domain of gods, profane is a domain of mundane. The profane is the realm of human, routine experience in other words, secular world. The sacred on the other hand, is defined its association with the realm of spiritual beings.
