Be clear on the goal of each individual question. Open have a general answer - opinion, thought, etc. Closed set of answers - a, b, c, d response. Rating scales - rate x from 1-5, 10. Get a volunteer to explain their thought process while using the interface. Use a foreign correspondent to ensure that different cultures have their ideas. Extrapolate information from the users stories about activities. Get user to create a collage of the experience. Draw the experience - shows how the experience is ordered in their brain.
