The goal of exploring the views of several philosophers is to understand the origin of many ethical theories. Proposed close connections between humans and animals. Opposed to the killing and consumption of animals (vegetarian) Souls may reincarnate in the form of humans or animals. Wrote history of animals which is about wild and domestic animals. Animals and humans share perception and emotion. Only humans have the capacity for speech and reason. Made many observations with pigs: overfeeding a pregnant sow = bad milk production, if a boar is mated too many times it will be a small litter. All animals must have been made by nature for the sake of man . Nature did not equip humans to eat meat (must cook it and use spices). Wrote the essay on the intelligence of animals . Wrote a book on the abstinence from killing animals .
