Stroma: uid lled sac: plastids are motile, produce dynamic extensions (stomules, contain their own dna: does have nucleus, has nucleoids, prokaryotic ribosomes, outermsmbrane contains porins: allows things in and out, inner membrane is impermeable - requires active transport.
