Incompatible premises: argument that draws a conclusion from inconsistent or incompatible premises; a proposition is contradictory when it asserts and denies the same thing drawing a conclusion from inconsistent or incompatible premises. Ex: atheists hate god (note that re-stating absence of the belief in god as hatred of god is an example of star man fallacy. Don"t you know that the wedding ring originally symbolized the ankle chains worn by women to keep them from running away from their husbands. Drawing the wrong conclusion: drawing the wrong conclusion that may be true or false but which is not related to the evidence presented in the argument. Ex: i saw the cookie crumbs on christina"s face so obviously she ate the cookie. Ex: i believe in the sanctity of marriage that should be between a woman and a man.
