There are different operating systems; windows, os, etc. Operating systems change very quickly, other operating systems include android, lenox, and ios7. It is the operating system that allows you to multitask or perform more than one process at a time. Server operating systems are slightly different than we use in our everyday computer or tablet. Servers are designed to allow more than one user to access the computer at any one time. The latest windows and mac operating systems can be considered server because they do allow you the administrator to set up basic networks in our homes. Mobile devices such as smartphones use different operating systems than laptops or desktops, phones are not expected to allow much in the way of multitask, this allows the phone to be much more compact saving space.
