From the guy that coined the term the internet of things . For some things (or a lot of things) surprises aren"t good. Ex: switching from the qwerty keyboard would be weird, and people would hate it. What will make the user say i like that! . It can be as simple as a colour scheme. Ex: the pilots that managed to tune out the annoying alarms. The users will not tell you the requirements! People also don"t know what annoys them until they experience it. Have you explored all the possibilities within the scope of requirements! Ex: in our project, is says we have to produce a pdf format, but it doesn"t say specifically what is to be on there. Sometimes the things users ask for are not what they really want. You job is to find out the user"s latent needs.
