Living in unsafe environments can raise the risks. 1 person exerting power or control other other. Date rape, stalking, sexual harassment, cat calls, cyber harassment, manipulation, sexual victimization. An unwanted act or touching of a sexual nature. It may range from a comment to a touch to kissing to coercive oral, vaginal or anal penetration. Can happen to trans- or cis-gendered individuals and in all relationship. Verbal cues, freely given, is the present, not implied. Cannot be given if under the influence of drugs/alcohol. It can be taken away at any time. A wife can charge her husband with sexual assault. Charges only pressed when the survivor wants to press charges. Consent is needed for all sexual activities. Sexual assault isn"t necessarily included in physical force.
