Extrinsic: focus on external factors like praise, rewards. Associative: alongside each other interact on similar theme. Functional: simple, repetitive muscle movements to explore objects, and their properties. Constructive: make something like piling sand to make a ramp. Games with rules: (not seen with toddlers yet) Mother with friend, child will bid more attention. More likely to play with, initiate, offer toys, and talk to peers > mothers. Ensure play skills, include social and emotional, to engage with others.
