In combined words like Worchentag, the las word determines the gender of the entire
word
So Worchentag is masculine because the gender of Tag is male
Montag – Monday
Dienstag – Tuesday
Mittwoch – Wednesday
A trick to remember Wednesday in German is that Mittwoch literally translates to
mid-week
Donnerstag – Thursday
Freitag – Friday
Samstag – Saturday
Sonntag – Sunday
A trick to remember Sunday in German is that Sonne means sun and so
Sunday/Sonntag is the day the sun/ Sonne shines

Question: Wie ist das Wetter heute? – What is the weather today?
Answers:
