Workforce diversity means a workforce made up of people with different human qualities or who belong to various cultural groups. Diversity in the traditional model reflects primarily inborn differences that are immediately observable (age, race, gender, physical ability) Inclusive model of diversity includes all the ways people differ (ex. Dimensions that can be acquired or changed in a lifetime: these may have less impact than those in the traditional model. Diversity adds value to organizations and contributes to a firm"s competitive advantage.
